Baltimore’s Pakistani American artist Sullee J celebrated the ongoing release and promotion of his new groundbreaking album Spear by travelling to the picturesque city of Istanbul, Turkey to film a video which he says is one of the biggest he has ever released in his career.
Hitting the streets of the former Turkish capital in a fetching red fez, Sullee J takes in Istanbul’s myriad of sights and sounds, especially the famed Hagia Sophia mosque, as the video captivates its audience with the historical scenery of the city that sits on two continents, while regaling their ears with the fire of Sullee J’s amazing lyrics and intense passion, summed up in his timeless new album Spear, which was released in February 2019 (HEMNA covered it here).
The video was directed and filmed by the globally known US-born Turkish film producer Uluç Yemen Aslan, via his production studio YFY “Yemen Film Yapim”, and includes scenes from the world famous Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Bosphorus Strait. Yemen Aslan has filmed multiple documentaries, as well as music videos for legends such as Atif Aslam, Harrdy Sandhu, Nihan Akın, and more. The production was released on YouTuve in the US by GlobalFaction, after post-production by toZuProductions.
