Two teenagers have been convicted of the manslaughter and robbery of 18-year-old Hussain Chaudhry who was fatally stabbed outside his home address in Walthamstow while selling a designer jacket to his killers. The court heard that Marvin Ward and Alexis Morris had agreed to meet Hussain on 17 March at his home address in Lea Bridge Road, E17, to buy a designer jacket that he had advertised for sale on social media. The trio, along with two of Hussain’s friends, went inside Hussain’s address after Morris asked if he had a jacket in a smaller size. After initially appearing willing to pay for the jacket, Ward and Morris then got out knives and threatened Hussain. Manchester United’s teenage midfielder Hannibal Mejbri has shared his delight as Tunisia reached the final of the Arab Cup on Wednesday evening. Mejbri, who played 81 minutes for the Carthage Eagles, made his debut for United on the final day of the 2020/21 campaign and has featured heavily throughout his national side’s stunning run to the final. With the game locked at 0-0 heading into injury time, Egypt skipper Amr Al-Sulaya headed a Naim Sliti free-kick into his own net to decide the tie, with Tunisia booking a place against Algeria in Saturday’s final. “I would like to thank the fans as the atmosphere was crazy. Situated just to the north of the central parts of Chichibu, Nagatoro is a quaint but scenic village. The Chichibu Railway will take you as far as Nagatoro Station’s historic wooden buildings. During my most recent stint, I was able to hit up Chichibu Shrine and soak in the onsen built into Seibu-Chichibu Station while also seeing the town of Nagatoro. While one of my favorites in Chichibu, it doesn’t combine logistically well with Nagatoro. “Many families who crossed the Darien Gap between Colombia and Panama have survived one of the most dangerous jungles on earth, and many of those children arrived traumatized to the Migrant Reception Center,” explains Laurent Duvillier, Regional Chief of Communication of UNICEF in Latin America and the Caribbean. In this dense tropical forest, migrant families with children are exposed to violence, including sexual abuse, trafficking and extortion from criminal gangs. As soon as migrant families arrive at the Migrant Reception Center in the Panamanian side of the border, children are conducted to the UNICEF’s Child Friendly Space, where they receive psychosocial and psycho-educational support. “They need to express their feelings that often they keep bottled up. So, by expressing their needs then they can rebuild their lives,” says Duvillier.
