I’M NOT FEATURED ON FRESHLY PRESSED AWARD: Nomination by Don Charisma

The year 2014 is not yet a week old, and still the awards love continues unabated. This past January 1 (New Year’s Day), the Half-Eaten Mind had been nominated for a new and freshly-pressed accolade, ironically named the “I’m Not Featured on Freshly Pressed Award”. This is a brand-new award devised by Thailand-based blogger Don Charisma, the legend behind another recently established blogging gift, the Innovative Blogger Award, which this blog picked up in December 2013. Those of you in the know are aware that the Half-Eaten Mind uses WordPress as our default (and only) blogging platform. As part of their … Continue reading I’M NOT FEATURED ON FRESHLY PRESSED AWARD: Nomination by Don Charisma

BLOG OF THE YEAR 2013: Fourth nomination by Alex (Photography-Nature)

Vijay Shah Our fourth nomination for the “Blog of the Year 2013” award comes from good friend and new blogger Alex Smithson. This has been a kind gift from him and an extra-special cherry on the top of the Xmas pudding, especially as he has surprised me with a double set of iPad mini wallpapers made by him for the Half-Eaten Mind. I have been keenly supporting Alex in his blogging hobby, guiding him and leaving helpful comments. He is much younger than me, and is in fact in the middle of exam period for the secondary school examinations known … Continue reading BLOG OF THE YEAR 2013: Fourth nomination by Alex (Photography-Nature)

Ms. Reguly is also a blogger as well as a very accomplished writer. She has recently been nominated herself for four blogging awards including Unique Leaves (featured above). On her most recent article she dedicated this most unique of awards to people who have recently commented on her blog “Lorraine Reguly’s Life” and whom she has decided to recognise for their valiant and entertaining blogging efforts. Lorraine, according … Continue reading A UNIQUE GIFT: Half-Eaten Mind accepts the Unique Leaves Award

Vijay Shah The Half-Eaten Mind is pleased to announce that I and the blog have been nominated for the Inner Peace Award by Mumbai-based blogger and photographer Ajay of the blog “Ajaytao 2010“. Before we go into further detail, I would like to humbly and graciously extend my deepest thanks to Ajay for thinking of me and offering the Inner Peace Award.
