SULLEE J: Comical (Lyric Video)

Acclaimed Baltimore hip-hop star Sullee J has released a fresh new single this past week in preparation for his upcoming release of the album SPEAR, soon to drop early this year.

The song, ‘Comical’ which touches on the current atmosphere of the industry, is a diss track aimed squarely at the relatively new mumble rap genre, which has become all the rage on the scene these past couple of years. It is also a commentary on the current state of affairs, both in Sullee J’s home nation, the United States, and across the world. The track comes with a neat set of lyrics customary of Sullee, that will hit your consciousness like a punch to the throat. Stay woke!

To promote the new single, which was produced by Lytton Scott, also known as L Beats, the artist has released a lyric video on YouTube and has also distributed it on Spotify. You can check out the track below.

SULLEE J: Word to the Wise ft. Gin

This December has proved to be a bumper month for Pakistani-American rapper and musician Sullee J (Sullee Justice) as he unleashes a wave of new songs and collabs before the New Year kicks in. Fresh from the release of R&B flavoured serenade “On Repeat” a week ago, the Baltimore-based artiste has now unveiled his latest song “Word to the Wise” – a grand piece of what the young things of America like to call ‘dope music’.

Word to the Wise is a collaboration that extends across the breadth of hip-hip’s homeland, with the newest voice from the East Coast, Sullee J, bringing in another upcoming star from the West Coast, California’s Gin. Far from the often lethal rivalry between the Coasts that racked the commercial rap scene of the Nineties, here two rising stars of the 2010s scene have come together in musical camaraderie perfectly complimenting each other in their deliverance of a valuable life message we all need to hear.

Described as a ‘solid track’, that is a treat for the ears with its ‘brilliance and positive vibes’, the new single is all about pushing aside the negatives and rising to the sky. There are wise words aplenty and self-belief is something that is at the heart of this track’s lyrics. One of the main messages to take away from this positive ode to life is not to let negative people clip your wings and hold you back from your full potential.

Word to the Wise was released as a teaser for Sullee J’s upcoming Spiritual Bars Album and is also been made available for public viewing on YouTube on Gin’s channel The Real Gin. Check out this dope track on the video below.

SULLEE J: New Music Submission – All I Know ft. Marka

Acclaimed Baltimore, US, rapper and lyrical master Sullee J has released a brand new single this past week, as the prolific artiste continues his rise to the forefront of modern East Coast rap. He released his latest track, “All I Know” featuring fellow rapper Marka on the 5th November. The song was produced by Anno Domini Beats.

All I Know speaks on the various scenarios which occurred on the come up of Sullee J, a story shared with many others of his genre. There is a distinctively retro feel both in the official video of the song plus the Eighties style hooks of the track’s beat. While lyrics flash up on the screen of an old TV set like we all had in our parents’ living room as children, Sullee J rhymes emphatically about the struggles, dealing with the haters, fake associates and hypocrites, while reaching for the top. Especially, it is a lesson for everyone not to let the two-faced bring them down and to chart their own success, and to understand who their true friends and supports are.

In the near future, Sullee J plans to release his new album, Spear, by the end of the year.

All I Know is available for free downloads and viewing via his YouTube channel, xxsulleexx, and through SoundCloud.

SULLEE J: Steady ft. Chino XL, Tabesh and Sayras

If you are a keen listener of authentic, straight-from-the-source Baltimore rap, then you have probably heard of Sullee J, a.k.a. Sullee Justice. Here at HEM News Agency, I have covered many of this rising music star’s releases, and now he has come out with a brand-new collaboration to tantalise your eardrums.

Released this past Saturday (21st July 2018), the latest single, “Steady”, is the product of a jam with New York’s Chino XL (Derek Keith Barbosa), who has been well-received in hip-hop circles for his technically accomplished style consisting of self-consciously over-the-top punchlines, which has led some to dub him the ‘Lyrical Messiah’.

Featuring alongside Sullee and Chino is Tabesh and Sayras, two underground Persian rappers, bringing the conscious Farsi lyricism to a worldwide audience. The track was produced by Sayrus productions with artwork by Reza Aghaei.

Steady is hip-hop at its rawest with powerful and intense Farsi and English lyrics, true East meets West unified on a style from the projects of America’s cities. Dark and steady, this one takes the genre back to its roots.

You can listen to the new single on YouTube and Spotify and download it at iTunes.

SULLEE J: Revolutionary featuring KXNG Crooked, Sullee Justice & more

Baltimore-based Pakistani-American rapper, Sullee J, also known as Sullee Justice, has announced the release of a new single this month, made in collaboration with rap legend KXNG Crooked (Crooked I) and others.  The fresh new banger, “Revolutionary”, has already been making waves, and is the latest in a long line of collaborations between the two artists these past few years. The song also crosses borders with an entrance all the way from Iran, Big Majazi (who raps powerfully in his native language, Farsi), and Great Britain’s Thir13en also providing vocal talent. Combining the instrumental hip-hop style of the 1990s with today’s trap beat, Revolutionary is a song that tells the struggle of life, while energising you ‘like a warrior’. The song aims to not only be a great track to listen to, but also as a vehicle to disseminate the truth. The song is now available for listening and download on various outlets, with proceeds going to charity.

KXNG Crooked might be known to the masses for his role in former rap supergroup, Slaughterhouse, but he has always been supportive of up and coming artists. He has blessed many freestyle circles and cyphers over the years, proving to be one of the hottest rappers in the game. Today, KXNG Crooked, Sullee Justice, Big Majazi and Thir13een get together and release their joint single, “Revolutionary”.

Baltimore’s Sullee Justice has worked with KXNG Crooked on multiple tracks over the years, and is widely known for his philanthropy, cameos in music videos such as Eminem ft. Beyonce “Walk on Water” and major collaborations with artists such as Royce Da 5’9, Young Noble, D12, Canibus and more. He has an upcoming album titled “Spear” which is soon to drop toward the end of this year. Sullee J is known for consistently conveying a positive and powerful message in his music. He and Big Majazi from Iran designed the project behind “Revolutionary”. They recruited Thir13een from the UK for the hook. The track embodies each artist’s perspective on the world, lyrically over a tight beat.

As KXNG Crooked states in the song, “You can put a revolutionary in jail, but you can’t jail the revolution.”

SULLEE J: ft. Alyson Blaire – Make You Mine

Sullee Justice, the ‘thinking fan’s rapper’ from the US city of Baltimore, has launched a new single this past Friday, entitled “Make You Mine” and featuring R&B/soul singer Alyson Blaire.

The song comes fresh from Sullee J’s latest album, and is the third to be released after he recently collaborated with KXNG Crooked of Shady Records and Templar’s of Hip Hop artist Beast 1333. It’s a clash between reggaeton (a musical style that has enjoyed a steady resurgence this year) and Sullee J’s genre of choice: hip-hop. Starting with an ethereal and dreamy beat, the track soon drops into a gentle rap with words and a couple appearing on screen. Subtle Spanish influences, Sullee’s masterful words and plenty of setting sun make this an ideal track for first date rides in a convertible on a hot summer’s evening.

“Make You Mine” and Sullee J’s other jams are available for fans to purchase on all outlets, including iTunes, Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon & more.

SULLEE J: Special appearance with Eminem & Beyonce

2018 could well be the year that goes places for Baltimore rapper and musician Sullee J (Sullee Justice). The artist, well known for his many collaborations with other artists from the northern United States involved in the hip-hop and rap genres, has had many of these linkups covered here on HEM News Agency. But, just as 2018 is only a week old, Sullee J has ramped up things to another level, making a special brief cameo in the new Eminem single “Walk on Water”. Veteran rapper Eminem, behind many early hits such as ‘Stan’, ‘Lose Yourself’ and ‘The Way I Am’, has recently returned with a vengeance to the music scene, and for Walk on Water, the blond fast-talking one has teamed up with the original Queen Bey of R&B, Beyoncé.

To celebrate the recent collab with Eminem, he has released a special remix of the latter’s new hit ‘River’, itself a collaboration with British pop singer Ed Sheeran. River comes off of the album Revival, which was released under Eminem’s own labels in December 2017. Alongside the remix, Sullee has also put out a funky lyrics-only video on YouTube, which you can check out below. A free MP3 download of the River remix has also been made available on Soundcloud.

SULLEE J: Pay Homage ft. Fudge

Accomplished Baltimore rap artist Sullee Justice (Sullee J) returns with a brand new single off his fresh new EP album “Spear”, released this past Wednesday. The single, “Pay Homage” is a special collaboration with local talent Fudge, with production by Valentine Beats.

Pay Homage focuses on the passion that fuels an artist as they head for their big break and struggles they face as they try to climb to the top of their game. One hundred percent animated and with backing vocals from both Sullee and Fudge, you hear the struggle told as a story while navigating life, police corruption, Islamophobia, crime and other issues of now. Even the Donald makes an appearance sitting in the Oval Room, voting people off like he was an America’s Got Talent judge.

The video highlights the hypocrisy in the American mainstream media, particularly against the Muslim community and how certain circumstances are staged in order to encourage hatred against a minority.

Pay Homage’s amazing new video can be viewed on the official GlobalFaction YouTube channel and you can also listen free of charge and download it to your Spotify album here.

SULLEE J: Reborn [Video] ft. Beast 1333

Baltimore’s Sullee Justice features artist Beast 1333 of the Temple of Hip Hop organisation and UK’s DJ Trickalome on the second single “Reborn” produced by Dansonn beats off his upcoming album. This track was made in the hopes of reviving listeners from the darkest thoughts and deepest of pains. From the increasing rate of suicide our world is facing and the lack of support people receive in the times of need, music like this is appreciated. This song not only will help you feel better, but hopefully gives you an alternative outlook and saves you from yourself. We all have had moments where we have felt like nothing else matters and why do we even need to exist anymore. We ask ourselves, would it make a difference if we were here any longer? This song speaks to you! This song tells you why you’re important and why you matter and why you must belong. Listen and “Be Reborn”.
